Reggae August by Ian!!

 

My there is Reggae... 

Which means - Bob Marley!!

So how did i come up with this?

First, i opened a new document and made it landscape.

Next, i selected the pen tool and i drew a triangle as shown.

Then, i right click it and select FILL PATH... 

Then i carefully select my desired colour as shown...

And then you have it. an example of the outcome : 

The steps are repeated until achieve this : 

After this, i got the basic layout which is : 

Then i put it together and typing the legends name with the type tool which is Bob Marley... And it turned out like this...

With the legends name there, i decided to duplicate the name at put it at the back just to make it look nice, so i clicked the layer, right click it and click duplicate layer... I then moved to my desired spot and hit CTRL + T to bring out the transform tool and i resized it...

After that, I just put the opacity down for the behind name.

Once this is done, i simply got a picture of weed, and put it as the 'U' in August and it looked like this...

After this is done, i opened my Adobe Illustrator and put it 3 pictures relating to Reggae...

After doing so, i clicked the button Live Trace and it ended up being vectorized and looked like this...

After much resizing, placing, and adjusting opacity, i simply dragged and dropped these 3 images into my Photoshop work and it turned out like this...

AND THERE YOU HAVE IT!!
